High school sweethearts, Darian and Tyra Rains, along with their three kids, planted Your Place Church on Easter of 2009. What started as a handful of families in a local coffee shop now is a thriving community of believers with the same goal in mind, to Reach, Connect, and Equip the people in rural Northeast Oklahoma. They knew if you went to any metropolitan area, you were likely to find a life-giving church, but some of the rural communities were driving an hour or more to find one. It became their dream to plant a life-giving church in every county of Northeast Oklahoma. In addition to their dreams of reaching Northeast Oklahoma, Pastor Darian is passionate about church planters and coaches pastors all over the nation. Tyra's passion for women to recognize that “Happily Ever After” exists has led her to start the Virtue movement, showing women how to live uncommon in a common world.
